This year, the HTU Wien Critical Orientation Days are taking place again – two weeks packed with events to discuss socio-political topics that are often overlooked at TU Wien!
In workshops, new utopias will be explored, and the correct behavior at demonstrations will be practiced. There will be walks to shed light on Vienna’s queer history and film evenings on the climate and housing crisis. Together, we will visit the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp memorial. The history of TU Wien will also be critically reflected upon through the monuments on our campus. And of course, a closing party is a must!
There’s also a raffle: Collect stamps at at least two events and participate in the raffle for cool T-shirts, caps, jute bags, and a book voucher!
You can find the program, all background information, and registration for the events at htu.at/kritisch . Come by!
Not sure if the Critical Orientation Days are for you?
…or would you simply like to chat with other interested students over a drink and learn more about the Critical Orientation Days? Then come to our Kick-Off Get-Together! Here, we will not only present this year’s program but also the idea behind the Critical Orientation Days. In a relaxed atmosphere, we want to discuss gaps in our curricula and reflect on our own range of topics. Our raffle will also be presented. See you on October 15th at 6 PM in the HTU learning room!
