Work and Study

Does the AMS or my employer fund studies?

Yes, under certain circumstances, this is possible. Further education grants or special programs are used for this. Contact your AMS for more information.

Can I receive unemployment benefits if I study?

Unemployment benefits are only received if you are adequately available to the labor market. You will no longer be able to pursue your studies full-time to meet this requirement. Generally, different regulations apply to students for receiving unemployment benefits. Contact your AMS for more information.
