Biography:
I’m 22 years old, originally from South Tyrol (Italy) and I’ve been studying architecture in Vienna for about 3 years. Art has been my passion from a very young age: I used to draw portraits with colored pencils and coal, later I experimented with acrylics and oil paint. My initial approach had always been hyperrealism, whereas in the past few years I started embracing imperfections and seeing my work as an organic process of painting what’s on my mind.
Reaching for Order (2025):
Chaos and order act as opposing forces. While order is floating up in the sky like the sun, never to be reached, chaos seems to be dragging us in any direction. The colorful, glaring lines merge into a quicksand of all the things that consume us. It seems like the only resort to escape the chaos is to look the other way.
Salvation from Chaos (2025):
When my body is wrapped up in chaos and I can’t get out by myself, there’s always a hand reaching for me – lifting up my head, patting on my shoulder. The wish for independency disregards how much we rely on each other. When the chaos of the world is taking over, there’s no salvation without community.
