Statutes Committee

Glossary

The University Representatives (UV) can establish so-called committees. These are working groups that deal intensively with specific topics and allow for discussions in a smaller setting. However, all resolutions continue to be made by the elected representatives of the University Representatives; the committees merely prepare the content for the meetings. Seats on the committees are also allocated based on the votes from the ÖH election.

The Statutes Committee deals with the Statutes of HTU Wien. This document is the foundation of all HTU work, our “constitution,” so to speak. The statutes regulate how the budget is distributed, how and when we hold meetings, who is allowed to have a say and vote, which departments exist, what rights and duties student representatives have, and much more.

The Statutes Committee is a permanently established committee. This is intended to guarantee that the statutes are always up to date and legally compliant.

All meetings of the Statutes Committee are public, so feel free to drop by!
